If you're looking for an inexpensive family
holiday in a luxury hotel and resort then check out Windjammer
Landing Villa Beach Resort. The family holiday resort of Windjammer
Landing Villa Beach Resort is to be found on Labrelotte Bay fairly
near to the city of Castries, in truth about a 15 minute drive. It
sits on a forested hillside, covering in all about sixty acres, and
has clumps of white villas climbing up the hill, so much so that if
you're in one of the highest villas, you will be kept fit by the
climb. This is an all suite villa hotel, and the villas all have
non-public plunge pools. This makes the Windjammer Landing Villa
Beach Resort a good choice as a family holiday resort due to the
sheer space in the accommodation.
In fact the villas can simply become anything from 1 to 4 bedrooms.
Similarly the secrecy of the classily decorated villas makes it a
great honeymoon resort too, and if not that a good selection for a
romantic getaway, with the separate living and dining rooms and full
kitchen also augmenting the options in the villas. The entire place
has a Mediterranean hamlet feel to it with the brick trails, and the
sun kissed hillside overlooking an exceedingly pretty bay and beach.
There's a large selection of cafes in the 219+ unit Windjammer
Resort, and actually for the dimensions of the resort you'll have
more choice than any place else on St Lucia. There are in reality
five eateries including Pop Don an Italian Trattoria for the pizza
and pasta fiends, then Jammer's Cafe and Bar is a steakhouse and
Griddle Bar, and the Dragonfly serves Asian and West Indian food.
All beautifully prepared and presented. You may have dinner prepared
and served in your villa, make your own meals, or eat in the cafes.
The cooks at the Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort are rated
among the top in the Caribbean, and they're a primary reason this
place is rated a top Caribbean Family resort, and the proven fact
that only 1 restaurant doesn't permit under 12 year olds in for
dinner. Another naturally is the facilities, which encompasses a
children's program. One highly recommended choice is to take the all
inclusive holiday package if you like to drink alcohol. What's a
very affordable family resort can get very unaffordable when you add
an enormous drinks bill at the end.
There's not much doubt the Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort is
a high quality five star hotel and resort, with a high satisfaction
proportion.
What guests appear to like more than anything is the friendliness of
the staff, the roominess of the villas, the plunge pools at the
villas, the food, and the water-based sports. If there were
complains, then they were often minor, including just one of the
cafes did breakfast, and the steepness of the hill especially with
children after a day down at the beachfront There are shuttles,
although not fairly often when you would like one. All taken with
all as a family holiday resort the Windjammer Landing Villa Beach
Resort does well. It is cheap, and the all inclusive option is a
very good one. It's not completely a luxury hotel and resort, but it
has got a very good try, and would be a sensible choice as a
romantic honeymoon destination particularly if you book one of the
non-public villas.
